Please check your online account or call the library to confirm your due dates.

I have an overdue item. How long do I have to return it?

You can return overdue items during open hours. If the library was recently closed due to an alert level 4, you will have a 10-day grace period once we reopen to return your items.

We understand that these are unusual times. If you are unable to return items, please contact us to discuss options: 614-882-7277 ext. 2 or customerservices@westervillelibrary.org.

Seniors & homebound individuals who rely on our delivery service – you may wait until the Outreach Department contacts you to arrange for pickup of your items. You do not need to make arrangements to return items to the library building at this time.

I have a damaged item.

Please contact us at 614-882-7277 ext. 2 or customerservices@westervillelibrary.org. We can work with you to arrange a time for you to drop off the item for assessment. Or we can charge your account for its full replacement and you can pay the fee online.

How long will returned items be kept in quarantine?

For the health & safety of our community, we will be keeping all returned items in quarantine for at least 10 days. After that time, the items will be checked in and made available to others waiting.

I returned an item, but it’s still checked out to me.
